WAUSAU, Wis. (August 8, 2020) –  Tonight in Wausau, Wisconsin, the TUNDRA Super Late Models will tackle the tough, flat, 1/4 mile – State Park Speedway. The TUNDRA series is proud to announce and welcome  AGRA Industries as our partner for this event, which will be featured live on  Racing begins at 7.

Thanks to AGRA, bonuses of $550 for the winner of the 75-lap feature, $300 for Second Place, and $150 for Third Place will be on the line.

“The Wimmer family does so much for short track racing, and they all have been for a long time. We are proud to support this event, and excited for the opportunity to raise funds for our Northwoods Veterans, also tonight. The raffles and donations will be available at the track,” said Ernest Hinner, AGRA’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“We owe AGRA a great amount of gratitude for joining us for this event in such short notice,” said TUNDRA representative Matt Panure. “We’re looking forward to helping them promote their brand and are excited about  partnering with a company that has a rich history in local short track racing.”

You may recognize the AGRA’s name from a few familiar faces in victory lane, as a former sponsor of SPS Champion Lyle Nowak, and now as one of Justin Mondeik’s primary sponsors. What many might not know is that AGRA’s President (Pat Hinner) has actually spent many nights in victory lane at State Park Speedway in a Legends Car back in the late ‘90s. Hinner raced weekly against local greats like Lyle, Ben Pettis and Paul Menard.

AGRA has encouraged Justin’s racing aspirations for the past seven years, as he made his way up through the 4-cylinder and multiple Late Model ranks. During this time, Justin also worked his way up from a high school engineering intern at AGRA to  his career today as a Mechanical Project Engineer.

“AGRA has a long history of supporting short track racing and is excited to be a part of this great traveling series. This could be one of the deepest fields of Super Late Models and driving talent you get a chance to see in person,” said Hinner.

Tonight’s TUNDRA event – like it’s two previous events this season – is guaranteed to provide plenty of action with heavy hitters such as three-time series Champ and defending race winner Casey Johnson, four-time State Park Champion Mark Mackesy, three-time TUNDRA winner Gabe Sommers, State Park point leader Justin Mondeik, and many more.

TUNDRA is joined by the Wisconsin Sport Trucks, State Park Speedway Pure Stocks, and Mini-Stocks.  Qualifying is scheduled for 5:45 and racing begins at 7.  The race will be broadcast live online at
